Instructions:
- You MUST have FULL rights to distribute the theme. Do not copy others work and promote here.
- You must upload valid screenshot with dimension: 800×600
- Add theme properties in keywords like how many columns, theme main color(s), theme niche, widget ready, adsense ready, twitter ready, etc.
- Make sure you concentrate on Quality of the theme than Quantity. Quality desides the number of downloads. More downloads will give you more backlinks.
- Your theme must be unique and you are the legal copyright owner or have written permission from the legal copyright owner to promote the theme.
- Any images, audio and video embedded inside the themes you post belong to you or are redistributable as free and will not infringe or violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- You must provide a valid demo link and host the theme files in your site. And it should live forever. Do not delete the theme files/demo sites once the promotion is done or after some time. Do not host your files on any free hosting or free file hosting sites like rapidshrare, megashare, etc.
- Demo link must be direct link to demo page. Not the url of your site or where you posted your theme(s).
- You must provide a brief description of the theme. Do not include your website or any other urls with the description.
- Make sure your theme name is unique. Just google it before you decide a name for your theme.
- Make sure you have screenshot.png or screenshot.jpg (with size 300×275) inside your theme folder. The screenshot must be valid screenshot of the theme not an advertisement of your services.
- Please add readme.txt with your theme files and please include all required installation instructions. We recommand you to use the .txt format for instructions file. Many of us do not have PDF readers or Office 2007 or other software.
- If your theme needs any plugins please specify the details of the plugins in the readme.txt. Also attach it with your theme files and provide detailed instructions.
- Please test your theme on IE 6, IE 7, FireFox, Flock, Opera, Safari and make sure they works good.
- Please avoid spacebands in demo/download urls. For Example … wpspider.com/demo/WP 010 – is not valid name, as it contains space in url
- Archive folder Structure: Make sure you use .zip format and the structure must be:
Theme_File.zip > Theme_Folder > Theme files
- Download and check out the folder sturcture : http://www.wpspider.com/go/1download
i.e., If we open the zip file there should be theme folder (only no other folders)under that theme files should be there. if you have plugins please place them as
Theme_File.zip > Theme_Folder > Plugins > Plugin_1_Folder > Plugins_files
- Make sure your stylesheet (style.css) have theme information as shown below:

- Make sure your demo and download links works before submitting the theme.
- Make sure your themes works with latest WordPress version.
- Specify WordPress version in your readme.txt file.
Our recommended plugins for theme designers:
- Theme switcher reloaded Plugin – will help you to switch the themes without activating them / installing them in separate wordpress blogs. It can be downloaded from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-switcher-reloaded/.
- Download monitor Plugin – will help you to upload and manage downloads, tracking download hits, and displaying links. It can be downloaded from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/download-monitor/. The latest version of this plugin also allows to use .zip extension for your URLs.
- .zip URLs: You must provide Theme files (download urls) ending with .zip extension, as you know many of us do not use .rar format or other archive formats.
If your theme violates any of the above terms we will remove your theme from our site(s).
